Rutgers Israel Action-- March 16

The rockets coming out of Gaza are meeting the "Iron Dome." The "Iron Dome" is a mobile air defense system made in Israel designed to intercept and destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells. The system, created as a defensive countermeasure to the rocket threat against Israel's civilian population on its northern and southern borders. In this video the "Iron Dome" operators wish the Israeli people a Shabbat Shalom. 


  • This past week, over one million Israelis had to run to bomb shelters because of rockets coming from Gaza. This war crimes committed from Gaza must end. Read more about the effects on Israelis at this link
  • Over three years ago, Tzvi Raviv, Director of Israel engagement at Rutgers Hillel, wrote about the experience of life under the threat of rockets coming out of Gaza. Three years later, this is still the reality of Israelis in southern Israel. Read more about Tzvi's experience.

The Israel Action Network covered RHCIE's achievement in defeating hate week, "...We are particularly pleased to report on the achievements at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
