Hillel Israel Leadership Initiative

This year, Rutgers students can enjoy an exciting opportunity to learn about Israel, attending Hillel Israel Leadership Initiative (HILI). HILI is for students who want to develop a more comprehensive understanding of Israel. HILI is designed to engage peers in learning about various topics dealing with Judaism and Israel in a creative, fun fashion. Each session consists of a community leader or expert who introduces the topic, followed by peer led learning using creative outlets such as media, interactive games, and personal presentations. HILI offers a broad overview of many different topics about Israel and is a great way to engage with other students in learning about Israel.

HILI Plus (+) is for students who feel they already have a well-rounded understanding of Israel and want to develop a deeper knowledge of the many moral and ethical dilemmas that are a part of Israel. HILI+ is based around peer-led learning and group discussion. A basic understanding of many facets of Israel is necessary in order to fully participate in this program.

These programs are designed to engage in peer-led learning on various topics dealing with Judaism and Israel in a creative fashion.
