This year, Rutgers students can enjoy an exciting opportunity to learn about Israel, attending Hillel Israel Leadership Initiative (HILI). HILI is for students who want to develop a more comprehensive understanding of Israel . HILI is designed to engage peers in learning about various topics dealing with Judaism and Israel in a creative, fun fashion. Each session consists of a community leader or expert who introduces the topic, followed by peer led learning using creative outlets such as media, interactive games, and personal presentations. HILI offers a broad overview of many different topics about Israel and is a great way to engage with other students in learning about Israel .
HILI Plus (+) is for students who feel they already have a well-rounded understanding of Israel and want to develop a deeper knowledge of the many moral and ethical dilemmas that are a part of Israel. HILI+ is based around peer-led learning and group discussion. A basic understanding of many facets of Israel is necessary in order to fully participate in this program.
